Why We Built Elevated Healing
Dr. Kourosh Moradi and Dr. Nicole Fallah founded Elevated Healing after repeatedly seeing the same issue across the San Fernando Valley.
Patients navigating mental health and substance use were not receiving care that was clearly structured or clinically led by the appropriate specialty. Some experienced fragmented systems with limited coordination. Others were placed into overly generalized programs that lacked clinical depth and direction.
Too often, individuals moved between providers without meaningful progress. Not because treatment could not work, but because it was not aligned with their primary needs.
This pattern made one thing clear. The system needed more than access. It needed precision, structure, and accountability.
The Clinical Insight
Effective treatment requires clarity.
Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders each demand specialized expertise. Treating them within a single generalized model can dilute focus, while treating them in isolation without coordination can lead to inconsistency. Research from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) supports the need for structured, clinically sound approaches to these conditions.
Elevated Healing was built on a different principle.
Care should be delivered through separate primary treatment tracks, with the appropriate specialty leading from the start. When both conditions are present, care should be intentionally coordinated, ensuring the full clinical picture is addressed without compromising depth or direction.

As a physician and healthcare entrepreneur, Dr. Moradi recognized the need for a more structured and clinically grounded approach to behavioral health treatment.

Dr. Nicole Fallah
With leadership experience across Cedars-Sinai, HCA Healthcare, and UCLA, Dr. Fallah understood that clinical excellence depends on operational structure.
Her focus has been building systems that support specialty-led care, clear communication, and consistency across all levels of treatment.
