Our flagship offering

When standard treatment hasn’t worked, we have something different to offer.

No other treatment center in the Woodland Hills, Encino or San Fernando Valley corridor combines Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, EMDR, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy under one physician-led, Joint Commission–accredited roof. For patients who have tried medications, talk therapy, or other programs without the response they hoped for, this clinical trifecta offers a different starting point.

Each modality is supported by published research and delivered by clinicians trained in that specific protocol. The result is a treatment plan built around your biology, your history, and your goals — not a one-size-fits-all program.

01 The Problem

You’ve done the work. The symptoms didn’t lift.

Medication trials, weekly therapy, an outpatient program or two — and depression, OCD, PTSD, or anxiety still drives the day. Roughly a third of adults with major depression don’t respond fully to first-line antidepressants, and trauma frequently outlasts standard talk therapy.

02 Our Solution

Specialty-led care across separate primary tracks.

You’re placed into a mental health or substance use primary track based on clinical need, then matched to the right combination of TMS, EMDR, ART, DBT, medication management, and wellness programming — coordinated by physicians, not assembled by algorithm.

03 The Resolution

A plan you understand. A team that knows you.

With a boutique six-client capacity and AM/PM IOP options, your team has the bandwidth to actually know your history — and to adjust the plan as your response unfolds. Aftercare and alumni support continue long after discharge.

TMS · EMDR · ART — how the modalities differ

An at-a-glance comparison. Your clinician will help determine which fits your history and goals.

Modality
Primarily used for
How it works
What sessions look like
TMSNeuromodulation
Depression, OCD, and certain anxiety presentations — particularly when medications have not produced the response hoped for.
Targeted magnetic pulses gently stimulate underactive brain regions associated with mood regulation.
You remain awake and seated. Typical course runs daily over several weeks. No anesthesia.
EMDRTrauma Reprocessing
PTSD, complex trauma, and trauma-related anxiety, grief or panic.
Guided bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements) helps the brain reprocess stuck traumatic memories.
Structured eight-phase protocol over a course of sessions. Always paired with a stabilization plan.
ARTVisualization-Based
Acute trauma, grief, phobias, and stuck memories that intrude on daily life.
Structured eye-movement protocol with directed visualization to change how distressing images are stored.
Often briefer than EMDR; many courses focus on a specific target memory.

For educational purposes only. Individual response varies; a qualified clinician will determine eligibility and which approach fits your circumstances. Not medical advice.

Our approach

A full continuum of precision care — from residential through telehealth follow-up.

Many mental health and addiction programs default to a single track: either talk therapy, medication management, or a blended “dual diagnosis” model that compresses two distinct clinical conditions into one curriculum. That approach can dilute focus and produce generic treatment plans.

Elevated Healing’s model is structurally different. Each client is assessed and assigned to a primary clinical track — Mental Health or Substance Use Disorder — led by specialists in that discipline. When co-occurring conditions are present, our teams coordinate care across tracks without collapsing treatment into a single integrated program. The framework is informed by federal guidance on co-occurring disorders from SAMHSA and peer-reviewed research on specialty-led behavioral health.

Evidence-based modalities, delivered with intention

Every approach we use is grounded in clinical evidence: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Medication-Assisted Treatment when clinically indicated. For depression and OCD that hasn’t responded to standard pharmacology, we offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, an FDA-cleared neuromodulation treatment described by the National Institute of Mental Health as a non-invasive option for several treatment-resistant conditions.

A levels-of-care continuum, not a single program

You step up or step down based on clinical need — not whatever the program happens to sell. The continuum below shows how care intensity flexes across your treatment arc, with seamless coordination at each transition. Many clients enter at PHP or IOP rather than residential; others step down through the continuum after residential care.

Levels of Care Continuum

Intensity flexes with clinical need. Care continues at every step.

Frequently asked

Questions before you call.

Do you accept Medicare for mental health treatment?
Yes. Elevated Healing is one of the few luxury mental health treatment centers in Southern California that accepts Medicare, alongside most commercial PPO plans. Call (747) 888-3000 for a free, no-obligation insurance verification.
What is TMS therapy and who is it for?
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain associated with depression, OCD, and certain other conditions. It is most often considered when medications have not produced the response a patient or provider hoped for. Individual results vary. Learn more on our TMS therapy page.
What is the difference between EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)?
Both are evidence-based trauma therapies that use guided eye movements. EMDR helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they feel less activating. ART uses structured visualization protocols designed to change how distressing images are stored. A clinician will help determine which approach fits your history and goals.
How small is your residential program?
Our residential program serves up to six clients at a time. The boutique capacity is intentional: it allows the treatment team to know each client by name, history, and goal — and to coordinate care accordingly.
Can I do IOP while working full-time?
Yes. We offer both morning and evening Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) tracks specifically so working adults can continue their jobs while receiving structured clinical care.
What if I’ve tried treatment before and it didn’t help?
You’re in good company. Many patients arrive at Elevated Healing after previous treatment didn’t produce the response they needed. That doesn’t mean treatment can’t work — it often means the previous approach was structured incorrectly for your clinical picture. Our model is built for exactly this situation.
