Outpatient Program (OP) | Elevated Healing Treatment Centers

What Is Standard Outpatient Program?

Outpatient program (OP) is most flexible level of care, appropriate for individuals with stable symptoms, strong support systems, and established coping skills. You attend 1-2 appointments weekly—typically one therapy session and one psychiatric appointment, or combined appointments based on preference. OP is ideal for ongoing recovery support, maintenance medication management, therapy for life challenges, and continued growth after completing intensive programs. Many people transition to OP after completing RTC, PHP, or IOP, or begin at OP if symptoms are mild to moderate and support systems are adequate.

Right for you if: You have stable symptoms, supportive living situation, established recovery foundation, need ongoing therapy and psychiatric support, or are transitioning from higher level of care.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I attend outpatient appointments?

Typical frequency is 1-2 times weekly: often one therapy session and one psychiatric appointment, or combined appointments based on preference. Frequency adjusted based on your stability, goals, and challenges. Some people meet weekly long-term, others monthly after stability established.

Can I switch between in-person and telehealth?

Yes. Complete flexibility to switch based on your needs. Some weeks all in-person, some telehealth, some combination. You maintain continuity with same therapist and psychiatrist while adjusting format to your life circumstances.

How long will I be in outpatient care?

Duration is open-ended based on your needs and goals. Some continue 6 months, others years. Many benefit from long-term therapy and psychiatric support for medication management, ongoing growth, and life challenges. We adjust frequency as you stabilize.

What if I need more intensive care while in outpatient?

If symptoms escalate or crisis emerges, we can increase intensity. We can step you up to IOP (3-5 days weekly) or higher level as clinically appropriate. We monitor regularly and adjust level of care based on your needs.

Do you coordinate with other providers?

Yes. We coordinate with your primary care physician, any other specialists, and other mental health providers as appropriate. With your consent, we share relevant clinical information ensuring comprehensive, integrated care.
